Case Study

Company: Keystone United Church

Background: Iron Horse Brewery is the best local craft brewery located in Ellensburg, WA with Iron Horse Brewery beer being served in Seattle, Kirkland, Bellevue, Tacoma, Redmond, Spokane, Yakima, Richland, Moses Lake, and more.

Problem: The current logo is decent but needs heavy typographic work. Their current website has little to no hierarchy and is very difficult to navigate.

Target Market: The primary target market for Keystone includes locals to the Seattle area as well as families both young and old. The site should be attractive enough for a young person but easy enough to navigate for an elderly person. Those coming to Keystone will also be religious (Christian).

Opportunity: This presents me with the opportunity to create and redesign both the identity and website for Keystone to increase those attending and provide easy of access to information.

Solution: I will redesign the logo to better fit their sense of community through the use of concept and attractive aesthetic. I will also take it into the collateral, considering budget along the way. Lastly I will redesign the website to provide ease of access to potential viewers.
